The Guidance Center is an integral part of the Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. and it is one of the avenues towards of fulfillment of the institution’s mission. The Center provides students personalized assistance in coping with adjustments that he may have to face while in the institution.

Health services

Medical and Dental Services
Students are enjoined to avail of the medical and dental services available at the Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc.

Campus ministry

The Campus Ministry serves to provide for the spiritual needs of the CEFI community. Activities organized of CM are held either at the St. Rita Chapel, the Forum, or if necessary elsewhere outside to school premises.

Student government and other organizations

The College Student Council, an autonomous and democratic organization representing the college student population, is the supreme student government of CEFI’s tertiary department.

Sports facilities

The forum serves as the center of activities whether sports, academic or entertainment. It may be rented out to interested parties after proper coordination with the Property Custodian.

Scholarships & Student Aids

Entrance Scholarships

:: Valedictorians from any governments recognized high school duly certified by the principal are given full tuition scholarships for one semester.

:: Salutatorians for any government recognized high school, duly certified by the principal are given half tuition scholarships for one semester.

:: Honors student from recognized college and universities enrolling at the CEFI shall be granted tuition scholarships for one semester provided they have satisfied the requirements for admission.

Suma Cum Laude – 100% free tuition
Magna Cum Laude – 70% free tuition
Cum Laude – 50% free tuition

Academic Scholarships

:: CEFI students obtaining an academic grade-average of:
a. 1.4 or better are given 100% tuition discount for one semester.
b. 1.75 – 1.5 are given 50% tuition discount for one semester provided the following condition are met;
1.1 the students carried the regular semester load;
1.2 the student had no grade below 2.0 in any subject;
1.3 the students had no failing grades in P.E. or NSTP.
*Certificates of recognition are also issued to these students who qualify for the academic scholarships.

Other Scholarships

:: Faculty members of the CEFI pursuing a course at this institution may also be given tuition discounts. Ditto with children of CEFI faculty members who are enrolled in any of the programs of the institution on a case-to case basis.

:: Special scholarships may be granted to graduates who garner a place in the top twenty of licensure examinations given yearly by the Professional Regulation Commission. The condition shall be set by the Administration.

:: Miss CEFI is given free tuition aid for one school year as a part of her prize. The equivalent amount in cash is refundable to the holder of the title if she is graduating.

:: Work opportunities such as student assistants are available to those who need financial help. Interested students may address their request to their School head.

:: Students who qualify for membership in the school’s varsity athletic teams are also given special scholarships.

:: The scholarships granted are, however, forfeited once the student violates the school’s rules and regulations.

Office for student affairs

The Office for Student Affairs is an office that is devoted to creating an integrated learning experience that will help students reach their educational, social, personal, and professional aspirations. In consonance with the institution’s vision mission, the Office aims to provide occasions for growth and advancement through cultural, spiritual, athletic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities with the end in view that students may develop into well-rounded individuals. It endeavors to nurture a campus environment where academic and non-academic pursuits are balanced thereby making campus life more enriching, interesting, and worthwhile for students.

The role of the Office for Student Affairs is twofold. First, it functions as an administrative office and secondly, it aims to serve the needs of students in the many aspects of campus life. Consequently, in addition to its function of overseeing student activities and interests, the office operates to promulgate and/or enforce institutional and/or DepEd or CHED policies, rules and regulations concerning student organizations, programs, activities, student comportment, and student discipline.

Specifically, the Office for Student Affairs is tasked to:

1. Promulgate policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations on student organizations, activities, programs, conduct, and discipline in consultation with the executive committee.
2. Implement policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations on student organizations, activities, programs, conduct, and discipline.
3. Promulgate guidelines on uniforms and IDs in consultation with the executive committee and to implement the same.
4. Oversee the functions, duties, and the attainment of the objectives of the College Student Council in so far as they do not conflict with the law, DepEd or CHED orders, rules, or issuances, and/or school rules and regulations.
5. Regulate student organizations and all student activities.
6. Direct the evaluation of all student activities and programs.
7. Approve or disapprove all announcements or postings inside the campus.
8. Conduct Freshmen Orientation Programs in coordination with the Adviser on Student Activities and the committee s/he may form.
