Vision
The College of Physical Therapy of Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. envisions itself to be the center for excellence for physical therapy education in the province of Quezon.
Mission
The college of Physical Therapy of Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. aims to align its program to the vision and mission of the institution in general and make education responsive to the demands for manpower in the allied health services both locally and globally. Specifically, it aims to produce individuals who are humane and scientifically competent to deliver the full spectrum of physical therapy services required in the modern healthcare. To achieve this end, the college has planned integrated and sequential courses of study utilizing didactive instruction, laboratory practice and clinical with the integration of the institution’s core values of honor, scholarship and service.
Objectives:
The college further aims to:
1. Provide the opportunity and experience through which its students learn the fundamental knowledge and acquire the skills necessary to practice of physical therapy.
2. enable its students to contribute to the welfare and well being of patients by making them accept the responsibilities and imbibe ethical practices and empathetic attitudes.
3. Help its students develop a background of information and disposition essential to the interprofessional understanding and cooperation.
4. Encourage it’s students to develop habits of self education that will advance lifelong professional growth.
Curriculum
The curriculum that the college is implementing is one that has been approved by the Commission on Higher Education. It follows a 5-year curriculum. The college reserves the right to amend or revise the curriculum as the need arises.

‰ Has simulated Physical Therapy clinic that has met the requirements set by the Commission on Higher Education
‰ Affiliated with major hospitals and clinics in Quezon, Laguna, Batangas and soon in Manila
‰ The college consistent in providing BOARD PASSERS for both local and foreign licensure examinations for the past decade.
‰ The school’s curriculum is aligned with and accredited by major foreign credentialing agencies such as
o FCCPT (Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy)
o Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators

Description
PHYSICAL THERAPY is a profession involved in physical rehabilitation. It is responsible for treating diseases and injuries as a result of daily activities, nature of work and cumulative trauma brought about by habits and lifestyle. It aims to restore the proper functioning of the body, or reduce the impact of dysfunction and complications due to a permanent disease or injury.
