Here’s news for all those who think CEFI is all about brawn.
Defending champion CEFI Academic team successfully retained its title in the 3rd Online Interschool Academic Contest (Tertiary Level) held Sept. 18 at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), Lucena City.
The trio of Jarvis Angelo Daquigan (PT), Francesca Maria Isabelle del Moro (PT), and Emerald Ocado (Education) managed to get out of a slow start to clinch the gold in the final round.
The team lorded over participants from STI, Enverga University Candelaria, Sacred Heart College, Maryhill College.
CEFI already has four championships in the said competition, starting in 2005. Had the school competed and won in 2007, it would have been the fifth consecutive win.
