The program is designed to produce
professional nurse who is responsible for
the care of individual, families, groups and
communities geared toward promotion and
restoration of health, prevention of
illness, alleviation of suffering and
assisting clients to face death with dignity
and peace.
Nursing Education department is committed to
quality education, through active
teaching-learning, multi disciplinary and
cyclical processes which include actual
hospital and community base learning
experiences using SKA (skills, knowledge and
attitude) in communication, nursing,
research and leadership.
Associate in
Health Science Education Program
The Health Science Education is a curriculum
program which aims to prepare students for
entry into any of the health science
programs and in providing flexibility in
choosing the right profession.
The program also
intends to develop knowledgeable and skilled
persons in primary health care, equipped
with the basic knowledge that will prepare
them to continue whichever paramedical
health course they want to pursue.
